What is Qigong?

Qigong is a mind-body practice that integrates posture, movement, breathing techniques, meditation, sound, and focused intent. Qigong has been practiced in China for hundreds of years and continues to be the most common exercise practiced in China today- simply stroll through any park anywhere in China and you will see hundreds of people practicing it.

Qigong opens the flow of “qi” (vital energy) in our meridians- the same ones referred to in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Regular qigong practice enhances our ability to feel our vital energy in our bodies and allows us to enhance it in order to give us more inner strength and vitality.
