What is Facial Rejuvenation with Acupuncture?

Facial Rejuvenation with Acupuncture (FRA) uses a combination of very fine needles in the body and face to restore the vitality of the skin.

Benefits of FRA include: improved muscle tone and skin elasticity, increased collagen production, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, improved hormonal balance and hormonal based skin conditions, reduced under-eye bags or dark circles, improved circulation and skin color, vitality, and radiance.

What to expect: An FRA session begins with a discussion about your skin concerns. Body points will be placed first to treat any underlying health issues that are affecting your health, skin, and face. Next, fine needles are placed in areas of the scalp and face to help lift the neck, chin, cheeks, and eyebrows. Lastly, very tiny needles are placed directly into selected wrinkles and fine lines to stimulate collagen. This helps to reduce the appearance of the wrinkles and fine lines. Once all the needles are in place, you will rest for about 25 minutes and then all needles are removed. Lastly a facial massage is performed to further improve circulation and to move lymph in the face and neck.

It is recommended that you complete weekly or biweekly treatments for a course of 12 treatments. Most clients see an improvement in their skin in the first few treatments and start to see lasting changes by about 6-7 treatments. The course of 12 treatments gives most clients lasting results. Further treatments to maintain your results are recommended monthly or at least every 3-4 months.

Cost is $180/treatment.
